Education is Everything

“The important thing is not to stop questioning.
Curiosity has its own reason for existence.”
Albert Einstein

Remember the 1st time you tied your shoelaces? Or backed-up a car?

Every step required intense focus and probably also involved frustration and fear.

So well described by David Rock, in his book Quiet Leadership.

We don’t learn on a linear curve.

We need space to think, process, make mistakes -

in a safe space … which leads to sustainable learning.

Read to learn how I connect art and science

Bill Bryson’s A Short History of Nearly Everything

A fascinating read, by understanding the stories behind the scientists and visualising metaphors of what it might be like to “survive” as a particle in a cell … it is difficult not to get hooked.

What People Are Saying

Grade 11 Ms. Filip's 402 environmental science class is the best preparation for APES anyone could ever ask for. Thanks to our classes, all topics introduced in APES have been met with ease. It is almost as if I already took the class. Of course, there are subjects that are completely new to me, but they always relate to our 402 class. This allows me to understand new topics faster than those who have not taken the class. Furthermore, I have the capability of helping my partners when they need it.

Overall, you won't find better preparation than 402 Env Science. I truly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to take APES.
